Um
Not sure where to begin here. If I could pick one month to follow the Dead it would probably be October 1980. I love the Eyes here its almost as if Jerry is whispering it. Nice and slow the way I like them not 750 mph like most of the 80's versions.

WOW!!
This is a great show. yea I know that these october shows were all great, but this show for some reason does it for me. it might be the "deep elem" opener. it also could be the GETAWAY, GREATEST, CANDYMAN, MAMA TRIED, MEXACALI, FIRST ELECTRIC SET. 0r just the whole second set. what I am trying to say is this is a great show, maybe not your favorite, but well worthy of any GD music collection! come check it out. you will dig it for sure. write a review as well, we love some good ole' dead stories.
peace.

I love this show
I can listen to this one over and over. The acoustic set is 5, as are many of these Sept-Oct. sets. To Lay Me Down is a thing of beauty.
The second set is played in the spirit of the first, and has a great set list. The second set isn't a 5, but it's good, and is great fun.

Dead Set
Hey doesn't anyone recognize Deal>Stranger? Seems this show has been tapped for its two cents. These two songs are showcased on "Dead Set", a compilation from Sept. & Oct. 1980.

amazing
31 songs excluding Drums/Space. This is an amazing show. It doesn't sound as clean as the other pristine betty's from this era, but man, is it ever fun.
Seriously, look at that setlist!

All mediocre electric sets
on the weekend shows here, all of which I was at. The best acoustic set is definitely the 11th !
